Agriculture is the main supporter which make the other sector in a nation can run well. We can see that crop which produced from agriculture is needed by people, not only needed by villager but also needed by the citizen. The need of crop will be increase and increase when the number people in a country increase too, meanwhile the increase of population can decrease land’s wide.
This increase is caused by the usage of land from farming land become many buildings. The decrease of land that happens in every year caused we lost farming land for 3000 hektars in each year. This is mean that the rice supply for people is decrease too. It became the worst when industries building were built in many places which can narrow the farming land.
Government as the manager has to give the limitation of land usage. This is important to be done because some land owners prefer to get money from selling their land than working in their farm. They don’t realize what will happen in the future when their village full of industry building and no space for farming area.
In this case government has to make a constitution which forbids the usage of certain farming area to be changed become industry building or citizen’s house. We can take an act that has done by British which determine a special area to be used for farming. In this area you just can see farming area and some farmer’s small house. Not only this, British kingdom also forbids land owners to build a building on their farm. By this way the wide of farming land can be used to supply for people need.
So, why our government doesn’t do as British kingdom has done. Government can determine some places in Sumatra, java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Irian Jaya to be used for farming land only. By this way the next Indonesia will not less of food.
Making Biogas from Cow’s Dung
The increase of fuel value, make most people confuse how to manage their outcome each day. Their dependence of fuel is very high. One kind of fuel that make most people in Indonesia confuse is petroleum. Because they use petroleum not only for themselves but they use it for running their economy, such to cook rice which will be sold to people.
Among the confuse people there are some people that try to make a solution how to solve their problem. They exploit the cow’s dung to produce biogas. By this way they don’t need to go to forest and cutting trees there. They just need the patient to make it, because the process is easy so much.
Here some process that you can try to make biogas that that useful so much:
1. Prepare two drums, PVC pipe, tap, some kgs of dung and water
2. Connect the first rum to the second one use PVC pipe
3. Connect the second drum to the stove that use PVC pipe that installed a tap
4. Insert some kgs of cow’s dung to the first drum and mix it with water
5. Then close first and second drum closely
6. The next steps is you just wait for a week to use the biogas that have you made
7. If you want to use this biogas you just rotate the tap and the biogas will flow to the stove
You can see how easy to make the biogas that can decraease the global warming, because the CO2 that produce from the burning can absorb by plant easily and the emition that produce is less.
Organic Farming
Indonesia is a country which the most of people are working as a farmer. Farming was carried out by people through traditional and organic way in past time. Then it was change since there are many kinds of modern tools and many chemicals fertilizer that can be used to increase the crop.
The using of modern tool can make farming easier than before. Panting and harvesting can be done easier. Farmer didn’t need to use buffalo to plough the land. They don’t need to drop the stick to drop the rice etc.
As the using of modern tool, the using of chemical fertilizer also help farmer to increase the crops. Farmer can get double crop by using the chemical fertilizer.
The using of fertilizer has good result for farmer, but this is won’t be exist for long time. It is caused by the using of chemical fertilizer continually can make a change to the land structure. The land will be infertile. And of course the crop that produced consisted of chemical.
Some farmers have realized that the using of chemical fertilizer continually has bad effect for the next generation. They will find their land has been infertile. And surely the producing of food will be decrease. That is why they begin to farming with natural fertilizer. They make the natural fertilizer from foodstuff, foliage and their animal’s waste.
To day most of farmers still doubt to the crop that produced if they use organic fertilizer. But it will change that the using of organic will be safer for next time and if they know that to make organic fertilizer is not as as difficult as they imagine. Here steps to make organic fertilizer from animal’s waste
- Prepare cow’s or buffalo’s waste that has been saved for 3 weeks, sawdust 10 %, a camp 10 %, and kalsit 2.5 % and stardek 0,25 %
- Prepare 2 plastic box
- Make layer that arranged from saw dust, a camp, kalsit, animal waste, stardek, kalsit and a camp.
- Save for a week
- Move to second plastic box and then mix it.
- Save for a week
- Move to third box and then save again for a week
- You can use this fertilizer.
By using organic fertilizer it is mean that we safe our next generation.
The Result of Fuel cost Increase
The increase of fuel cost has been done twice. This is bad news for all people, especially for farmers. This is because most of them use many farmers tool to do the farming, meanwhile most farmers has failed in harvesting their rice because of flood had happen some months ago.
Not only this, the number of people get jobless has increase too because their job dependence to the fuel, such fisherman. The can’t fish because the don’t have enough money to by it.
Government should include it in making the decision. As we know that the first increase has made the number of poor people in this country. And how about this year increase ? Is this not something matter because the increase is not as high as 3 years ago.of course not.So how we solve this problem?. decision has implemented. the exactly the number of pauper will increase.
Based on the government assume that this increase is caused by most of fuel subsidy have used by intermediate and high group, not used by poor people. So from this reason, the increase of fuel cost must able help the pauper in this country.
Planting Peanuts
Peanut is one of the crops which can be used for many kinds of food, not only for main food but also for instant food. Many ways has token by farmers to get the peanuts with high quality. One of the ways that has been done by them was selecting the quality of peanut’s seed. Here is some ways to select the peanut’s seed:
- Choose the seed that has high yield
- Keep towards to the illness
- Have short time harvesting
This way can be done by carrying out the study against farmers who have been successful in this case. You can ask them which seed is seed with high yield. Or you can buy some kilograms of seeds from this farmer. It will lose your doubt about the quality of seed.
After choosing the quality of peanut’s seed we should do the planting step correctly:
1. Make seeds hole. One hole and the other are separated about 30 cms
2. Put 1 or 2 seed to the hole. The land that used may not too dry or too wet.
Then the maintenance that should be carried out are:
- Replanting should be carried out to the hole if the seeds has planted did not grow.

Pertanian merupakan salah satu dari aspek yang menjadi penyokong kehidupan, baik kehidupan di pedesaan ataupun di perkotaan. Sektor ini merupakan sektor yang berfungsi sebagai penyuplai bahan makanan. Namun agaknya pertanian untuk saat ini dan untuk waktu yang akan datang memerlukan perhatian yang lebih. Hal ini terkait dengan adanya efek pemanasan global yang melanda bumi yang disebabkan oleh produksi gas emisi yang terlampau tinggi. Pemanasan global semakin menguat dengan berkurangnya luas hutan sebagai pengimbang siklus udara.
Penyuluhan terhadap petani sebagai bentuk dari perhatian yang diberikan pemerntah harus dilakukan dalam upaya memnghambat adanya pemanasan global. Seperti yang telah dilakukan oleh beberapa negara yang memasukkan sector pertanian sebagai sector unggulan, seperti Thailand.
Di Thailand penyuluhan tentang dampak pertanian terhadap pemanasan global kepada petani memang telah dilakukan. Penyuluhan tersebut berisi tentang pembakaran sisa pertanian yang juga dapat memperparah pemanasan global. Penyuluhan tersebut dititik beratkan pada penanaman padi. Penitik beratan tersebut bukan karena pembudidayaan padi sebagai produsen gas metana dan carbondioksida terbesar, tetapi dikarenakan pertanian padi di Asia merupakan sector yang mendominasi dari sector-sektor yang lain.
Pemanasan global juga terjadi di Indonesia. Bahkan di Indonesia telah terjadi iklim global. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari maraknya bencana banjir saat musim penghujan tiba dan kekeringan saat musim kemarau. Bila ditilik memang sebagian besar factor yang menyebabkan iklim global ini merupakan akibat dari tindakan-tindakan yang merusak keseimbangan lingkungan. Kita bisa melihat dari adanya penggundulan hutan yang dilakukan tanpa adanya penanaman ulang selama berpuluh-puluh tahun. Pembukaan lahan baru oleh petani-petani juga menjadi faktor yang memperparah peanasan global di Indonesia. Kita tentunya masih ingat tentang adanya pembukaan lahan baru di Kalimantan dengan membakar semak-semak yang dampaknya tidak hanya dirasakan oleh Indonesia sendiri tatapi juga dirasakan oleh beberapa negara tetangga.
Dengan demikian hal yang harus dilakukan adalah melakukan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat tentang pembukaan lahan baru yang dapat memperparah pemanasan global di Indonesia serta menghindari emisi gas secara berlebihan.
Penyelamatan Hutan Indonesia Dengan Berladang Di Internet
Sejak tahun 1950-an perhutanan di Indonesia mengalami babak baru. Pada tahun tarsebut penggundulan secara besar-besaran terhadap hutan di Indonesia. Penggundulan tersebut dilakukan untuk tujuan komersil oleh orang-orang yang tidak memikirkan tentang pentingnya keberadaan hutan begi kelangsungan hidup anak cucu mereka untuk waktu yang akan datang. Orang-orang yang berprofesi sebagai petani pun turut andil dalam perusakan hutan tersebut. Mereka menebangi kayu untuk membuka lahan baru yang digunakan untuk lahan perkebunan dan pertanian.
Hal ini harus diatasi sesegera mungkin sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi perusakan terhadap hutan Indonesia. Beberapa cara yang bisa ditempuh adalah dengan meningkatkan SDM manusia Indonesia khususnya untuk yang berprofesi sebagai petani. Peningkatan SDM tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan mensosialisasikan keberadaan internet yang memang oleh sebagian besar masyarakat belum termanfaatkan. Pengenalan tentang keberadaan internet merupakan langkah awal agar mereka bisa mengetahui tentang lapangan pekerjaan tanpa harus merusak hutan, marketing misalnya.
Dengan cara tersebut upaya untuk sedikit menyelamatkan hutan di Indonesia dapat dilakukan sekaligus untuk mensosialisasi lapangan kerja baru.Bagi yang bangga sebagai seorang petani tidak perlu khawatir karena sebenarnya seorang internet marketer juga seorang petani hanya saja mereka memiliki lahan maya yang berupa blog.
Semoga dengan banyak munculnya petani-petani internet akan menjadikan penyelamatan hutan Indonesia bisa sedikit terlaksana.
Bertani di internet juga harus kerja keras
Untuk mendapatkan hasil panen yang melimpah ruah tentunya seorang petani harus bekerja dengan giat. Pergi ke sawah setiap hari, mencangkul, menanam, memupuk dan mencegah supaya tanaman di sawahnya tidak di serang oleh hama- hama pengganggu.
Begitu juga dengan petani-petani yang lainnya, maksudnya petani yang ladangnya berupa blog aliyas petani internet. Petani ini harus sering-sering menanam banyak content kedalam blognya, merawat ladang blognya agar tetap cakep supaya banyak pengunjung.
Kita bisa menarik kesimpulan bahwa semua profesi memerlukan kerja keras untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal.
Dari artikelnya Pak Sumintar.com yang ditulis pada tanggal 15 mei 2008, menyebutkan bahwa sukses itu wajib hukumnya. Sampai saat ini saya belum menemukan jawabannya. Kalaupun ada saya hanya menebak, kalau yang wajib hukumnya bukan suksesnya tapi usahanya. Betul tidak pak ??????
